Why is it then when I view any picture in Vista using Windows Photo Gallery, the picture seems darker than usual, but when I click the slideshow button, it looks normal?
Example of the problem. On the left is regular viewing mode. On the right is slideshow.
solution:
-Rick Click desktop > Personalize.
-Display Settings > Advanced Settings...
-Color Management tab > Color Management
-Advanced tab > Change System Defaults...
-All Profiles tab: Scroll down to the ICC Profiles section and find your monitor. Just remove it from the list, and see if that fixes the problem.
