What state are you in?

The ADA laws won't do much for you...but MAYBE state law will...but I doubt it.

All I'm asking from my employer is a defined schedule where I work 2-3 days from home and a few days at my client.

But if I were to ask for a completely different client with no commute required, can they do anything... that's my question.

Probably not. The difficult part for you is the drive time, and that's entirely your choice. Since you have the option to move closer to your job site.

You'd need to ask a specialist lawyer familiar with the laws for your state, not "Doctor ATOT."

If your employer is happy with your work, asking them to shift you to a different client that is OK with 100% remote work is an option, but we can't tell you whether or not you have any legal right to this.

Even if you do have a right, you might suddenly and mysteriously start getting unsatisfactory performance reviews and then be let go because of them.
