Question regarding CC offers in the mail++++ and other offers.

Sundog

Lifer
I am so tired of getting all these CC offers in the mail (along with other crap) that I did not request. We recently went on vacation for 9 days and had our mail held. Upon returning home I have 18, yes 18 CC cards offers...ugggg..enough already.

So here is a question: All the CC offers have a postage paid return envelope. Do they get charged by the post office for each and every one that gets sent back?

If they do I am going to start mailing everyone back to them (the envelope with nothing inside).

Yes they get charged and I have even heard of people putting heavy stuff in the envelope to have it cost the CC company even more.

Just throw them away...it's not like they called you on the phone

I save all the filler ads from my bills each month, cell, electric, gas, and cable, and put them into the return envelopes for the cc companies and send them back out. You never know when they might want to switch their phone or cable service over.
