I was thinking of who this is, and I can't come up with the name of the guy, anyone happen to know the name of the person in parliment during the 1980's in Britain (under Thatcher) that lobbied for laws against immigration?...(during the wave of intolerance where if you weren't white anglo saxon you weren't considered truly British) -it coincided with the British Nationality Act of 1981?
