I have found a quick way to test an overclock..run 3DMark 05 cpu tests 1& 2 ... if it reboots or crashes its a no go

So for overclocking stability...

I run Memtest 86+ 1.70 first..50 passes on test5. Then a test run of 3D mark05, 8-24hrs of blend prime 95 v251 and fianlly run 3Dmark03/05/06..if all run no crashes it is a stable overclock

then I tested out my setup in my sig..ran 3DMark05 cpu test first, then full 3Dmark05...no issues

Next I ran an 8hr Blend run on Prime 95 v251 for 8 hrs, then stopped and ran 3Dmark05..no crashes

So I ran 25+ hr Blend Prime 95 version 2.51..no crashes..stopped it
ran 3Dmark05 and the system rebooted..WTF

so I rebooted turned off my PC..waited a few minutes..rebooted and guess what 3D 3DMark05 ran with no crashes/ no issues....so I did some work on my PC...decided to run 3Dmark03....guess what it rebooted

After reboot, I ran 3Dmark03/05/06 consecutively..no crashes or rebooting

I am so perplexed as to why this is happening..I am starting to believe if I run the 3Dmark 03/05 after a clean boot all is well..use my computer for a couple hours running apps etc...and try them I get reboots, but not always

Does this suggest a driver/software issue?

any thoughts?

quick update:
I have run 3DMark03/05/06..again with no issues and reran 05...and again no issues

must be an app or driver somewhere causing an issue
