Question re: Cisco routers (specifically the 1900/2900 series)

I was told that there might be a command to enable the router to accept prefixes when assigning ip addresses to interfaces and the like. I think it would be a neat shortcut and would like to know if there is a way to do it.

To clarify, I want to be able to type:
int fa0/0 --> ip address 192.168.10.0/24 instead of typing out the whole subnet mask. Is there a way to do this? If so, anyone know the command?

It is an option in the later IOS versions (~12.0) ... not specific to the router model.

It's a "service" option, but it's not listed with the "?", and I don't remember it off the top of my head.

You could try searching the Cisco site.

If I remember it or find out, I'll re-post.
