question re: Anandtech's CPU bench

Is there any way for the testers to start using the latest version of povray? Currently the tests use povray 3.7 beta 23, however the current version is povray 3.7 RC3. The reason being that the results appear to be different between the two and beta 23 isn't available for download anymore.

I have an Athlon II x4 630 and the results from Bench are 2227 pixels/second. However, when I run RC3, I get 706 pixels/second.

I suspect it's an across the board decrease since I tried it with my atom-based computer and it's also significantly lower. Anyone else with a processor listed in Bench willing to test this out with the latest povray version? It can be downloaded here. Those running unix-like systems may have some issues compiling, but they're easily solved.

You'd probably need to email Anand; I doubt he'd see this thread. Though I doubt they'd throw out that version of POVRay overnight - that would be a lot of retesting they'd have to do.
