Question re adding memory card to MP3 Player

I have a D-Link MP3 player and just ordered a 128mb memory card (think its called a smart media card) to upgrade the memory. Do I simply plug the card in the MP3 player, or do I need to format the card or run some software or something to get it to work?

If your D-Link suppots that type of memory and its size capacity, it should be plug in play.
