My PCIe eVGA 6800 Ultra will sometimes beep if it is put through a certain condition (usually playing a game). It is either my video card or my mobo reacting to my video. The beeping goes on for about 10-12 seconds.
Examples:
Call of Duty:
My desktop resolution is at 1280x768, while I run Call of Duty at 800x600. When I run it in full screen no beeping occurs, but if I play in windowed mode (The game is running @ 800x600 on my desktop), it will start to beep.
Counter-Strike:Source:
Just about every time I run this game it will beep. When I minimize the game the beep will go away.
Starting Windows:
When I start Windows, If I've changed a video setting that has caused me to reboot, it will beep for about 5 seconds or so.
I've checked the seating on my card, which is the common suggestion for when I searched for a solution.
Thanks in advance if you can help with the problem.
