I want to get a keyboard and mouse for my Playstation 2. Where is the best brick and mortar store to get them, also can i just use any USB keyboard and mouse or does it have to specifically be made for the PS2 thanks.

What does the manual say about compatibility? If the PS2 has USB (I've never seen one so I don't know) then I would think it would be pretty staight forward.

ok here is what the manual says

The USB conector on the front of the console can be used to conect a USB compatible device. Also refer to the instructions included with that device. NOTE not all USB compatible products work with the Playstation2 computer entertainment system. See the Apropriate USB compatible products user manual for more information.

I was kinda hoping someone here could give me a better answer. I live in NC so no Frys for me and BB is 50 mins away .

Come on someone must have tried a device in theirs, I dont have a USB keyboard or Mouse so i can't try it .
