when the files are being copied, i get this message:


ORA - 03144: not connected to Oracle.

what is this thing?? it keeps coming up again and again!! 🙁

8i? There's a known issue with 8i and W2K server, we had that exact problem just a few weeks ago.
Can't quite remember on how to fix it though, sorry. Not sure if the service pack will do it or what, but a quick search on google should find your answer. Sorry I can't be of more help, but that's one thing to look into is the incompatibility between 8i and W2KS.
 
it's weird...it didn't work the first time so i tried to uninstall it. the thing is, i was informed that the uninstall doesn't work right and requires a registy tweek. this thing sucks!!!

i have to get it up and running by tomorrow for work...ARGG!!!
