Question/Opinion about ATOT relationship threads

Recently, I've noticed a few of these relationships threads (x girl did y to me and therefore I'm upset and what should I do?) But, the posters of these threads have already made up their minds about what they are going to do which is, in most situations, linger on about it and cling to anything positive said by a poster like a life raft in the middle of the atlantic. Are they just looking for some reassurance that waiting for the 1% chance that the girl isn't gonna break up with them is worth it?

If that's the case, then those threads seems pretty pointless.

my .02:

I got walked over in my second relationship in HS and I said fvck that... so I've never let another girl break up with me, I do it first... and sometimes that actually makes the girl like you more because she wants somebody who is going to take charge, not somebody who is going to be their bitch. If not, then breaking up was most likely right thing to do, and it's best to keep the pain on YOUR terms (makes it easier to manage/get over).

Anywho, my way has worked for me very well in the past 6 years 😀

oh yeah and ps: if you don't have real self confidence, pretending is just as good... it leads to real self confidence😉 and........

Ever try to give friends relationship advice? Posting advice on relationships is just as useless as that. You can warn someone of what disasters are obviously coming up in their future, but until they go down that road themselves they'll be blind to your good advice.

The best thing to do is just stay on the periphery of the debacle...why involve yourself when you won't be listened to anyways.

Edit: The exception is if DearQT/luvly posts in the thread. Then feel free to generally harass the crap out of that airhead, simply because it's what Jesus would want us to do.

HAHA no, I'm new... didn't post for awhile due to not having much to say and a very long debate/mistake in my first ATOT thread about a ps2 and walmart. I still think most people wouldn't have called 😛 (you'll know what I'm talking about if you search for and read it, but please no more comments about that thing haha)
