My friend recently opened a fast food place and now he is askign me what is a good wireless camera for surveilance with the ability to record the video to the computer. Also, it is semi-related, he also ask if there is program on computer that would record the video and would delete them automatically whenever the alloted time has past.

How much was he looking to spend? Getting a high quality camera is definitely worth the money. Some come with capture software that will dump the video to a file on the PC. Others may require a card be installed in the PC to capture the video.

I'm not really sure about the other question. You could always delete those manually or with another program.

I have a home surveillance system myself, though I don't have a wireless camera, I do have 4 wired ones from Swann. I have all 4 connected to a dedicated PC and I can see things that are going on around the perimeter of the house. I also have them recording 24/7 onto my 300GB HD. It seems to take 4 months for all 4 cameras to fill up the majority of the 250GB partition with recorded videos. Swann makes quality products and they're not expensive and can be bought at local stores like Fry's Electronics or www.frys.com
