Question on Virtual Dub for those who uses it

I am trying to capture video using virtual dub but am having problem capturing the sound. The L/R output from the VCR is coming into my sound card's line-in. I can't seem to find the option to choose the sound source in Virtual Dub. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Go into the sound mixer, and get the Sound Recording to use Line In instead of the other audio in sources such as the microphone.

Click on the speaker symbol next to your clock in Win98 to access the recording settings 2dfx mentioned.
