I need to build a workstation for a project at work, and I am considering using the Intel D845GBVL, with integrated graphics, LAN, USB2, sound, and plenty of PCI slots.

I realize that the grapihcs aren't for gaming, but could it be assumed that they are pretty good for 2D apps?
Also, since it's an intel chipset and an intel CPU, I am assuming that the board is going to be a very stable foundation. Any comments otherwise?

Planning on using a p4 2.4B (w/533FSB) with Crucial PC2100 DDR. Not quite clear on the 533 to PC??00 conversion.
533FSB is just 133Mhz quad'd, or PC2100, right? Would PC2700 be a better idea (widen the margin)
The 2 ram slots the board has will be adequate for my application

Thanks for any comments

No, even at 133FSB (533) the memory will be running at 2x FSB or 266MHZ. There are no memory speed adjustments on this board except for the ability (I guess) to change the CL timings. You can choose between "aggressive" or "normal".
