Question on the Opt 144 OC"d to 2.8-3.0

Compared to the Intel PIV 3.2ghz chip LGA775 1mb cache.

How much of a performance gain would I be looking at ?

I may be able to pick one up at a great price with the stepping that's had great oc results.

No comparison. You'd need a P4 well over 4 GHz to match an opteron near 3 GHz.
