Question on the Demo fear.

I downloaded the game . and i am very confused. i don't game but many have said this game has bad graphics. i found them to be fantastic . also using fraps i was averaging 56fps now that seems really high compared to what i been told.i was playing at 1280x1024 with eye candy at max . what is normal fps with fraps

The game has great graphics IMHO.

I'll download FRAPS and see what I get.

hmpf...

1024x768x32, no aa/af (this looks like software rendering on my LCD BTW) I only got an average of 66fps according to FRAPS.

1280x960, 4x/16x AA/AF, I only got an average of 27.7fps

Needless to say, that sucks.

Were you using AA/AF??? What's your system specs?

Ya I had aa/af and midmap everthing set to quality . X800xtpe stock P4c @3.2Ghz Raid 0 dual raptors Bh5 2-5-2-2. I had eye candy at max. My mistake I have the ballistic memory installed 2-5-2-2 . David took the Corsair BH5 for his setup the arse.

I tried to watch the fraps window i didn't see it drop below 70 much

hmm.. XTPE vs XL is worth 20fps?? more than I thought

Ya if you go to the orb my pc is at the top of the intel 3.2 Ghz machines buy a large margin. my cpu seems to be rather strong. If I clock it up to 213 FSB 1;1 I am at the top of the 3.4ghz and if i go 224 1:1 2-5-2-2 pat enabled . Iam at the top of the 3.6 GHz. without overclocking the video card
