Question on the Dell 2001FP

Is it worth buying a brand new 2001FP or getting a refurbished one for 100-199$ less? I really want this monitor badly seeing im on an old Dell 17inch round tube

Any help will be very appreciated 🙂

I have never used one, but the new Apple Cinema Displays look incredible. I'm not sure how they match up to the Dell in terms of price, but they look very nice.

I was looking at the 20" one, and I can get it for $1600CDN or so w/ student discount, so that should be around $1100US or so. I guess that's $400 more than the Dell.

From what I've heard the 2001FP's are definately worth it. How much are you getting it for? I've seen them go for as little as $700 or so.

right now, dell has their 2001FP on sale for 20% off, so you can get one for $799, which is a really good deal. it sometimes goes for $750. just go check out their site right now.

You can get it for $709 w/25%off plus a today only $40 coupon. Google for the coupon codes. The cheapest i have ever seen it period.

If only they offered deals like this in Canada, I would have been all over it a long time ago. The best the Dell guy offered me was I think $1350CDN. At that price I would just splurge for the Apple 20" CD.
