Question on Small Form Factors

I was wondering if I can change the power supply of a SFF barebone system. It seems that all of them have relatively low power, ranging from 200-300. For instnace, i'm interested in this barebone: http://www.newegg.com/app/View...tion=56-101-457&depa=0

I'm wondering if i can change the power supply of that.

LOL, yes, there is one other PSU for that machine you linked to-- It's the Shuttle PC40 PSU, and it gives you an extra 10 watts over what's already in that machine. (GASP!!) 😀

Seriously, that's the biggest problem facing SFF systems-- Lack of alternatives when it comes to PSUs.

why u wanna change the psu?
for your info, the shuttle silentx 240w is good enough even for x800xtpe.
don't compare silentx psu with normal atx psu, there are different things.
u can go to check it out at SFF forum, lotsa users are using 6800GT without changing psu.

i agree. the psu in those shuttles would be more than enough

I second sukhoi37. 240W is enough in my sff for as much gunk as I can cram in there!...G
