OK. I have a big box to ship. We are sending a doll house to a relative. UPS has a girth max requirement of 130 inches. My box is 30x20x33 and it's crammed tight. Now, I called USP to schedule a pickup. I gave them the dimensions and she said that I am over by 3 inches. After looking at my box, I don't see anyway to shave off 3 inches. The dollhouse was dismantled as much as possible already. So, let me ask this. If I call them and say the dimensions are 30x20x30, how much checking of size are they gonna do? Does my local UPS guy measure it when he picks it up? I understand their rules, but it's only 3 inches. I mean, come on, I am paying them $42.38 to ship the blasted thing.

heres the thing: feeders are only meant for packages so big. it could get stuck and jam/break something expensive.

length + girth (G=2w+2w)=130 is for a reason.

BTW UPS drivers have 130 inch chains marked off for measurement. if they accept it and one of the revenue auditors finds out its "over max limits"

they send it back to you and add a $50 fine
