If I were to set up a new watercooling system, with blocks on my CPU, GPU, and chipset, which setup would be most efficient?

1) Running the water from block to block, from CPU, to GPU, to chipset, and finally to the radiator

2) Getting a 3-way splitter to run water to each block simultaneously, and then recombining the water flow before it hits the radiator

I realize the water flow in option 2 would be slower, but would this be better since the water wouldn't get heated incrementally as in step 1?

Option one is definately more practical because it requires far less tubing than option two (hence far less space to take up in the comp). Having the water heat up incrementally should not be that big of a problem. If you're worried about temps, add a second radiator to the setup.
