Question on refurb 9700 pros

I'm interested in getting a refurb 9700 pro from Newegg at some point, but I am curious about some things. First, are the cables that do not come with the card vital to its performance? More specifically: does ATI use a proprietary power cable for their video card, or will my current power cords work?

Also, how reliable are these refurb cards? Would one be worth getting, or would I just end up RMAing?

Thanks!

The card uses a standard connector, I think it's a 3 pin, like used to connect floppy drives, or it's 4 pin like hard drives, so it's a standard connector for an ATX power supply.
The cable for power is from your power supply, not from the box.

No idea about the reliability of cards, but I'd guess if they're reselling, it should work, and if not you could probably complain.
