I currently have a Shuttle SNG4V3, which is a S754 with the following specs:

A64 3000+ @ 2.2ghz
1GB Corsair pc3200
X850XT @ 555/600

Now, the problem is it being a S754, it's lowering my ram to pc2700 speed since I'm using up both slots. Now, I'm thinking of upgrading, would it be better for me to get a stick of 1GB Corsair XMS @ 400mhz (not much of an upgrade, but I do want to run my ram at pc3200 speed), or 2GB of Corsair Value @ 333mhz??! Also, would the S754 lower the ram speed if I put 1.5 GB in there?

I dont think it is running at pc2700 because you are using both slots. Your htt is 220 with the 10% overclock you are doing.

I am guessing you are running a 5/6 divider with value ram so your ram is running at exactly what it should be running at or it is defaulting to a 5/6 divider because it cant run at ddr440

When I use CPU-Z, it tells me my ram is only running at 183mhz. S754 is known for running ram at lower speed when all the slots are full. I was just wondering if getting 1 stick of ram with tight timing will be better than getting 2 sticks of value ram.
