Question on quality of USB cables

Can anyone offer any comments on the quality of the less expensive USB cables like the brand Foxconn, as compared to more expensive ones like Belkin. There is a huge difference in prices. As much difference as $2 (Foxconn) to $25 (Belkin). I'd think the more expensive ones have to be better, but are they that much better.

Thanks for your expertise and opinion.

I dunno, when I see cheap external cables (Scsi, usb, parallel, serial...) I jump on them... Never have had a problem... I have some cheap llike 1 dollar 6 ft extension cables, usb and ps2, that have always worked fine for what I do... . then again maybe with higher bandwith devices than a keyboard there would be some noticeable difference.

Expensive USB cables are such a rip off. I have ever bought a usb cable of any sort so I can't really say from experience but I doubt that there's any difference.

Cables are how most stores make their money. It costs very little to make a cable, so the stores mark them up high to make up for other items which don't have as high of a mark-up
