Question on Panaflo L1A

My only question is whether to ask them to crimp a 3-pin or 4-pin connection!?!?! Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 4-pin variety easily connects to a 4-pin molex connector but doesn't automatically adjust or throttle the speed, so it's always on max? And the 3-pin connector allows you to connect it to the 3-pin motherboard connector which should be able to automatically adjust RPMs to the situation?

Yes, the 3-pin connects to the mobo but it will not automaticlly manage the fan speed. For this you will need a preogram like speedfan. I don't know how well L1As work with speedfan though since they have no rpm monitoring.
