ANyone have any experience with this memory.

It looks like newegg has pre-black friday deals starting. I just noticed the stuff is only $29AR right now, but I dont know if thats the price yet, because it says it doesnt start until 11/26 so.... I see a bunch of other crazy prices already. 2gb kit of corsair for $9.99AR and its not even 11/26 yet.

Anyways, looks like the stuff is around $100+ elsewhere.

OCZ HPC REAPER

I tend to avoid OCZ DDR2 memory. My first two sticks (2x1GB OCZ Gold DDR2-667) would only boot in two of ten different motherboards I tested. My recent buy (2x1GB OCZ SLI DDR2-800) would boot in one system but not in two others. I'm sticking to Mushkin, G.Skill and Crucial from now on (have used all three with absolutely no issues in any system).

Damn, got this stuff on a previous hot deal... for more money. 🙁 Note to self: Don't buy a hot deal and then leave it unused.

I did use the 2GB kits (two 1GB) and had two of the kits (4x 1GB total) in my gaming rig. Worked fine. Don't know what else to say about RAM. It either works, or it is faulty and you RMA it.

I had similar issues with OCZ but I hear the reapers are some nice stuff.

Once I found boards that recognized the memory it worked great. But finding compatible boards was tougher than it should have been. And I'm in the position of having several sticks of DDR2 laying around all the time so if one set doesn't work I can drop in something else to push up volts or something, if these are your only sticks it's going to suck if they won't boot.
