Question on obtaining sound/audio drivers

I recently obtained a used Dell Inspiron 5100, but with no cables or software. I am looking to find audio drivers as I only get beeps and error messages when sounds attempt to play. I looked around dell's site briefly, but couldn't find anything helpful.

Any recommendations on how I can get audio up and running on my laptop quickly?

Well, you might try HERE. Might have to run Everest Home Edition etc to determine specifically what driver you need (ex. AC'97). I typed in Dell etc and didn't get a hit.

HERE'S another site that will surely have it. However, of late they have become a PITA and require registration etc. Otherwise it's free.
