question on Northwood

I'm new to the boards and wanted to know if anyone knows when the Northwood chip is slated to make it's appearance for the consumer to purchase? thanks for any help you'all can give on this subject.

Oct.-Nov. timeline. If u can't wait, u can buy Socket 478 boards right now (Abit Th7II-RAID is a great one, Asus P4T-E will be good also), and a S478 Williamette CPU, and then later upgrade to Northwood.
