First of all The use of the word Necro is out of context, None are pretending to tell future from outdated threads.
What can be gleamed from such threads is the perceptiveness of posters and or their motives.
I for one find a necro thread as AT mods put it be authorism. A form of censorship, In a debate 2 or more sides take a position . After the TRUE fact are known it is a BENEFIT to go back and look at threads . It tells us much about posters and what may or may not motivate their replies.
So far as I can tell this is more akin to censorship . Than communicating with the dead about future events. Once an event takes place . All that remains is hindsight. The Topic itself when it was authored is more akin to necromancy than calling an old thread necro . I understand perfectly well why many here wouldn't want such threads to be reopened as it can and does show the reason for the posters reply. So AT forum doesn't believe in History ! Because thats what your necro threads are a trip into the past about what posters say. It also offers insight into what agenda a poster may or may not have. Many people get banned. Your so called necro threads or topics can clearly show these ban were unjust and that someone got away with suppressing good info. While the guilty go on spouting their agenda unchallenged.
The truth of my above words are undenialable. Is not truth also apart of what we debate . These old threads are not necromancy but rather hindsight that offers a more clear picture of the posters and their agendas if they have one. Is that not also a fact?
