Question on my ecs k7s5a

I just picked up this board for my computer and it runs fine no problems however on the power/acp led wire from my case (which gives me my power light and hd activity light) my plug has 3 sockets and their are only 2 pins to insert it to, so I have no lights on the case which tell me that the computer is on or that the hard drive is running.Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might fix this??

For the power LED wire, although the connector has three sockets, only the two outer ones actually are wired, right? The thing to do is to cut the connector in the middle and then to place the two wired sockets onto the two pins on the motherboard.

As for HD LED, there should be a separate wire on your case, and that should fit the motherboard exactly.

that's exactly what I had to do. Use a sharp utility knife and you can trim the middle one down. I actually had to do it for all 3 boxes I used this board for.

Or, with a pointy object, lift up the little plastic flap that locks the lead in place in the
plug for one of the leads, free up and remove the lead, insert in the middle socket of
the plug et voila!
