Question on memory for 2.4C

So in my other thread, someone recommended this buffalo pc3700 on new egg for $99 (that's for 512mb!). I'm curious as to why this is so cheap. Is this slow ass, low quality stuff, or do other people also recommend it.

If you don't recommend it, what do you recommend and why? Thanks.

not sure about that brand...

but if you are serious into OC'in i know that kingston hyperx and corsair xms will do the job

iv never heard of that brand.

im using a set of 512, pc3500 corsair xms sticks and they are great.

id reccommend em.
