Hi,
I am about to pull the trigger on a Samsung 191T 19" LCD monitor and wanted to ask you guys about ghosting on LCD monitors.
I am a programmer who works out of a home office so I want an LCD to reduce eye-strain, free desk space, etc. I am currently in front of a 21" Hitachi CRT heatsink 9-10 hours a day minimum.
I play mostly console games now, but I am playing Rise of Nations and some other strategy games like Disciples 2.
I am assuming that LCD ghosting is only an issue for high FPS first person shooters & DVD playback. I never play shooters and I don't watch DVDs on my PC. Am I wrong in assuming that LCD ghosting is not going to be an issue for me?
The LCD I have picked out has 25ms turnaround. I am not really interested in 16ms LCD displays because they are only available/affordable at 17" which is too small for my work.
Thanks for any and all advice!
