When a KVM is active on port A, will computer B be able to detect that the monitor is connected? In other words, does switching ports in effect "disconnect" the monitor, keyboard, and mouse from one computer and "connect" it to the other computer?
 
I don't know if it completely disconnects them, but I do know that it makes it so that the keyboard and mouse are only active on the computer that they are set to.
