Question on keyboards with USB ports.

Regarding keyboards with built-in USB ports...are some of these more
reliable than the other? Reason I'm asking is that I have a flashdrive
that will work on every computer I have except the one I really need it
to work on. That particular box has a USB port built into the front of
the case which is convenient. However (Murphy's Law) Windows won't see
the drive on that port. I have another flashdrive that works fine on it
so the drive is just being fickle.
As the store I bought it from won't take it back, I'm thinking that
perhaps it's time for a new keyboard anyway so I might get one with USB
ports built in and it might solve the problem.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Gary

Can't really speak to different maker's reliability .. but I have a Dell Dimension 8200
about 4 years old, which came with the USB Keyboard with 2 built in USB 1.1 connections
on the bottom of the keyboard.. it works for most of my usb items, but it can not work with
a usb device which needs high current.
