Question on how to get the TV output to work on a Geforce2 card.

My friend has a Leadtech Geforce2 64Meg card and they want to try the S-Video output on their television so that they can watch DVD's on their TV. I saw in the drivers where you change it from monitor to the television output but the TV output is grayed out and will not let me select it. Is this because there is not a TV connected to that output yet? Does it know when a television is connected? Also what kind of video quality can they expect displaying dvd's on their television using this output?

I don't know if the card knows if a TV or other device is plugged in, but you HAVE to have a cable in there, at least. That took me a while to figure out.

You got to hook it up to a TV Im sure. The option on mine is not there when not hooked up to a tv. I have leadtek gf2 mx that we watch movis on the kids pc hooked up to the big screen and they look great. For some reason the composite out does not look good at all, but with s video looks fine.
