I don't know where or when you read a "review" that said you could "select a bus of 138 mhz", because in the "normal ECS BIOS for that MB, you cannot; period.
However, as was mentioned, you can flash the BIOS with an "altered" BIOS that has the unavailable options made available, if you follow my drift. It's "hacked"; (in case you don't). Bottom line is that the "cheepoBIOS"
can give you a few more options for increasing the FSB. The problem is, unlike so many of the current MB offerings, the increases are not in 1 mhz increments; they are in preset numbers. So, if your board cannot handle the increases offered, for whatever reason, (cooling, PS, or just plain CPU limitations), you are SOL
