Hey guys, a few minutes ago i saw the last 5 minutes of a Giligan's Island report. This caused me to remember the show i used to watch once a day as a young child. I was wondering if someone could tell me what happened at the end of the series.

They died from a tidal wave.

Seriously, a giant storm was coming, they made the huts able to float.

Gilligan did something stupid, and set one of the huts on fire. This actually enabled them to be seen by rescuers.

They hung out in Hawaii for awhile. Skipper got a new ship and renamed it Minnow. Invited all the castaways on another voyage.

Of course they got into a storm and marooned once again.

I agree, Mary Ann was probably an animal between the sheets. Heck, I would have done Mrs. Howell before doing Ginger.

Oh Gawd, I smell another Ginger vs. Mary Ann debate.

I choose Mary Ann, though I wouldn't throw Ginger out of my hammock for eating coconuts.

They actually ended the series after 3 seasons without a conclusion. They were all expecting a 4th season, but it never happened. A few years later they made the movie that got them off the island.

So was the original Star Trek. 1966-1969.
