question on Dual PIII system ( only 1 cpu been used)

hello all


look like i am having a little problem with my dualies. i am not sure if its a problem.

there is my system,

2x PIII different stepping ( cC0, cB0 )
ecs d6vaa
512 mb ram.
win2k

when i run flaskmpeg only cpu1 have any activity in task window under system in device manager.
the second one just idel where cpu1 running at 85 to 97%.
i did reinstall my system after i put in the second cpu. under system in device manager, it show
aspi multiprocessor. is this normal??

also how do i asign task to cpu2?

W2K will offload some normal housekeeping tasks to the 2nd CPU but if your application is not multithreaded, only one CPU is going to be used for it.
