Question on doing full squats

When it is recommended that I should keep my back straight, does it mean that my back should be vertical, like perpendicular to the floor?

Or if can I keep my back straight, but slightly leaning forward? I tried to keep my torso perpendicular to the floor, but I always feel like I'm in danger of keeling over backwards 😕

I think it's quite impossible to do it with your back vertical for the very reason you just listed 🙂

Straight but angled is fine. Pivot at your hips when you angle though, and not by curving your back (hence the straight back thing)

🙂

I believe you're suppose to arch your back, but not round your back. Lean forward as necessary on the descend.
