Question on DELL inspiron 4000

Hi,
I have some questions on my dell Inspiron 4000.
There are battery picture on F3 key and 2 monitors picture on F5, what are the fuction of those?

I recently upgrade to win2K, can I still use softex baymanager because it does not include on Dell backup CD win2k folder but on other win folder. If not, can I still do hot swap in win2K.

There is NO MSCONFIG in win2K. How can I remove synaptics touchpad icon in taskbar tray?

In device manager, why it always auto install 4 default monitors? What monitor should I set to for my 14" LCD

The monitor key is to switch from the laptops screen to an external screen, or both. You usally press and hold the FN (function) key and then press the other key and you'll see what it does.

It should tell you all this in your user's manual.
