I have a dell vostro 400 core 2 duo E6550 @ 2.33 ghz with 2gb ram and windows xp 256 mb nvidia 8600 gt vid card. the acp 1 temp is 40C and there are 2 different v core 1 and v core 2 voltage readings, which ones should i look at?? The core speed is 1995 mhz..is this wrong?? thanks

speed fan 4.33, there are 9 readings from top to bottom, which ones do u look at?? it says found acpi temp 40C and vcore 1 is 1.15 v and vcore 2 is 3.04 v....as for is speed step enabled..how do i find this out??

Download Coretemp and CPU-Z. Coretemp will give you accurate CPU readings and CPU-Z should give you accurate voltage and mulitpliers. Speed Fan is cool and gives you a lot of information, but some of it from what I've been able to gather is inaccurate.

After installing those two apps, let us know what your seeing then.
