question on college course

I have a quick question about college course. Do you have to take subjects in chronological order? Such as in high school, bio, then chem, then physics. Can you take whatever you want first in college without chronological order?

It depends on if you need to take a certain course in order to get into another one that you've listed.

Usually though if it's a beginning course, you can take whichever you want first.

basically no unless as coldcut sayd its prerequset for the next course. so basically if you want to take statistic you need to know previous math before you can take statistic course

Depends on how well you know the professor. Sometimes you can talk to them and have them to waive the pre-req's needed to gain enrollment to the class.

What math is before statistics?

It all depends on Pre-reqs for classes. I have finished all my courses except two of which I was supposed to complete sophomore year. They are the only reasons I have to stick around for another semester.

Whatever is listed in the course catalog. It should say "M192 is a prequesite for this class" or something like that.

*M192 may not be the actual prequesite.

You should talk to an advisor for your major or visit the department office to find out exactly which pre-requesties you need to take. Every college and department has different requirements and sequences.

if they're sorta unrelated like chemistry and physics, then you can take either one first.. but if it's like.. physics 1 and physics 2, usually you'll have to take 1 before 2
