Question on burning cds.

Hi all,
I have used my Sony 145E for a while and am happy with it. I think my question is software related. I usually use 80 minute Cds but more often than not when I add any more than 40 or 45 minutes of music, it kicks the cd out.
I have tried burning at slower speeds (as low as 2x) and reinstalled the Adaptec software. Any other suggestions?
Btw I have no problem burning data cds or copying a cd.

well first try to update the burning software, and look to see if the setting are for something on the line of burn at once or something like that, all that does is tells the laser to not stop for the entire disc, that could possibly do it ?? also see if the cd burner can be upgraded ?? hope it helps.

oh did it work before ??? or is this the first time ???

 
thanks for replying. I just d/l an update from v4.02 to v4.03. With regard to the "burn once" etc. what is the correct setting?
