Question on BIOS Temperature Settings

I'm not sure where to put this, so I'll probably post it in a couple different places....sorry for the repitition.

I just recently went out and bought a new Shuttle SS51G motherboard and case (the tiny cases). Very cool by the way.

Anyway, as I was looking through the BIOS, I noticed that the CPU cooling fan has 3 different 'levels' you can set on it temperature-wise. So for example, you can set Level 1 for 75 degrees. If it gets hotter than that, then the fan speeds up to faster speed until it reaches your level 2 temp, then speeds up again until it hits your level 3 temp.

My problem is, I don't have any idea what to set these temperatures to, nor do I know how to go about finding out. This is running a P4 2.4, GeForce4 4400, CD-RW, and 1 hard drive. I am not overclocking anything, nor do I have any plans to.

Can anyone clue me in as to what I need to set these temperature settings for? I'd like to be able to actually use the variable-speed stuff on the fan since, when it is on the lower 2 levels the case is actually pretty quiet.

Probably depends on how noisy/effective the fan is; aswell as how much temp and noise you're happy to put up with...

I'd probably set the fastest fan setting to kick in only when cpu approaches what you consider a too-hot temp, maybe 60C? Not sure on what temps are bad/normal/good etc for Intels.
