Question On Antec SX1030 Fans and Cooling

Does anyone know what the dB and CFM are on the 2 80mm fans that come w/ the case? I am debating whether or not to buy 4 new fans so they are all the same or use these 2 and just get 2 more. Also, how good is the quality on these fans? Will any tailed, 4-pin fan fit in the mounts? Finally, how is the airflow in this case? Major heat causers will be a T-Bird OCed about 300mhz or so and an OCed kyro2 if it can OC. Think I'll have enough cooling if I duct the cpu to the top exhaust fan and use a GlobalWin FOP32 on it? Or will I need blowholes? Lastly, is the 300w psu enough for a single t-bird system usually? or should I opt for the SX1040, no black then tho ? Thanks in advance.

If I remember right,, the fans are 30db and move 34.5 cu ft of air.
I have 4 on my sx840 case now and they are ok so far. (I aded 2 more Antec fans)
I tried to mod the case to add 4 panaflo 92mm fans. Also, the panalfo L1's seemm to be louder then the Antec fans. (My wife complained of the noise when the panaflo fans were running) The mod can be done,, but too much cutting is done and you get too close to the side of the case and to the I/O panel edge and rivets on the I/O panel.
Any 4 pin tailed 80mm fan will fit into the brackets. Just make sure the fan is 25mm deep.
Everyone who has the case seems to think the airflow is good.

The Antec fans are nice. Very quiet, and they get the job done for my P3700@933. I originally replaced them with 2 Sunons but they made a horrible racket and only cooled my system another 2C. I also tried all 4 but they made no difference in temp from the Sunons. The mounts can hold any 80mm fan.

I agree, the Antec fans are quiet and do a really good job cooling. I'd get two more of them.

I was really surprised by how quiet the stock Antec fans were. Just for fun, I compared them to some Panaflows I have, and I didn't notice a real difference. There may have been one, but I just couldn't hear it.

I threw some pc power and cooling silencer fans in my sx830...much more quiet. Now I have to quiet down my power supply.

I bought 4 new sunon quite fans from cooltek and made no difference..
The FLOP 32 makes more noise that the 4 fans I think...

The Antec fans are decent mid range fans both in terms of airflow and noise. Sleeve bearings. Nothing to rave about. IIRC, the cfm and airflow are in the mid 20's. AntecCSR may fill us in.

Panaflo L1A's Are something to rave about- extremely quiet. Four of them in an SX-Antec are entirely adequate for almost anything, no cutting or chopping necessary. Slap 'em into the fanholders, fire it up. It's because the case has excellent stock airflow.

Any 80 x 25mm fans will snap into the fanholders.

Most of the stuff I've seen about ducted cpu fans is with 6035 alphas, and ducting the exhaust out the back. I use it with an overclocked p3, not really sure that's adequate for a TBird. There are always some losses in airflow with ducting, so a fairly strong 80mm fan would be advisable.

The 300w will likely do just fine, provided you don't really load up your system. Enjoy.

I was gonna add 2 Panaflo H1As, 40cfm 32dBa. Kinda loud, but my cpu cooler will be louder so it doesnt matter. Was thinking of putting those 2 at the front w/ filters and the 2 antec's at the back w/o filters. This should provide even air flo. This would give me enough cooling to get a 750 t-bird or duron to 1ghz on a 133mhz fsb running 24/7? Or should I spend another $20 and get 2 H1As for the back 2 slots also? Thanks for all your advice so far.
