Is it common for this mobo to overclock worse with 2 rather than 1 stick of ram? with 2x 512mb ddr400, i get memtest error and random reboots with anything higher than 180mhz fsb regardless of cpu speed. with one stick however, i can hit up to 197mhz fsb until i have graphic corruption from my agp/pci being way out of spec. also, can this mobo run ram at cas 3? for memory, i only seem to have the option for cas 2 and cas 2.5.

the 8k5a2 is a kt333 chipset, but it is one of the best overclockers for this chipset. my cpu is a barton 2500.

It is always harder to OC two sticks of RAM rather than one.
Cas 3 wasn't really an option for RAM at that point of chipset developement. Once we got to the 200MHz + arena, we started seeing Cas 3.
