I have a Tbird system...that I tried to use intel Anypoint network usb to network..ended up getting rid of it..after I uninstalled all the software I started get a BSOD saying a volume was removed with open files etc... So I ran CDresq and restored the drive...I did not reformat... I am still occasionally getting this problem on initial boot and occurs more frequently on a reboots when installing software etc...

My system:
1.2@1386 Tbird
Asus A7V133 fsb at 146
256mg Mosel Vitellic RAM
30 MAxtor HDD on promise controller
SB live
Tosh cdrom
plex 121032
Realtek NIC
Netgear phoneline adapter for network
2906 Scsi card for my scanner

Any ideas???

Which motherboard BIOS are you using? Make sure that you are using one that is 1004 or later.

Any more suggestions...

Btw had to lower the fsb from 146 to 140 and went to 10 x 140=1400..the netgear phoneline card does not like the 146fsb...got too many errors when moving files across the network...
