question on 80286......

Does 286 have a granularity bit descriptor? My professor is challenging me on this. I do no think so, but I would like to confirm this again..

In the GDT? In that case, no. The granularity bit determines whether the segment's limit is in bytes or in 4 KB pages. It would be stupid to have this on the 286 since the maximum segment size was 64 KB.
