So i think i have a dead hard drive. In some demo programs for Hard Drive restoration or file recovery it reads my drive as being FAT12 or something.....well....it doesn't work.

I went ahead and created a .dsk file and stashed it on another HD. Is there anyway to extract some of the files from this .dsk file????

I have read in so many places that you can but no one says how....

I am guessing you need software to do it but is there any free software that does it???
