Question of definition of "within" and timing....

If an auction payment is due "within" 5 calendar days of winning the auction and I won it on the 13th, it would be due today, right? Not yesterday as someone is trying to stipulate.

To me within 5 days would mean (assuming I bought it at 5PM on the 13th)

14th @ 5 PM Day 1
15th @ 5PM Day 2
16th @ 5PM Day 3
17th @ 5PM Day 4
18th @ 5PM Day 5

How can you count the day I bought it as a day, when a day (24 hour period) hasn't yet occured? The terms are within 5 days. Doesn't a day have to occur before you can count it?
